Dr Mark Gurnell, who is Director of Studies in Clinical Medicine, has been awarded a prestigious Pilkington prize by the University.

The Pilkington prizes were set up in 1994 and recognise excellence in teaching within the University. Dr Gurnell, a University Lecturer in the Department of Medicine, was praised for his exemplary leadership in the revision of teaching in clinical medicine. He acts as an external Director of Studies for six years of Sidney clinical students.
