Sidney Sussex aims to provide a unique formative experience for all students.
In the case of undergraduates, this involves mentoring ('direction of studies') and small group, personalised teaching ('supervisions') whereby undergraduates engage intellectually with research-active academics in all stages of career, from doctoral and post-doctoral students to senior academics.
For postgraduate students, all structured subject activities are the responsibility of the relevant Departments; the College, for its part, enables and supports a number of interdisciplinary opportunities for enjoyable and inspirational exchanges of knowledge and experiences, from regular postgraduate seminars and suppers, to the Postgraduate Research Conference.
