Team triumphs at Wessex Salon Culinaire.

Members of Sidney's catering team have recently been awarded prizes at one of the country's largest live culinary competitions, the Wessex Salon Culinaire.

The competition features four main categories, Live Hot, Live Cold, Restaurant and Display.  Four members of the College's catering team were commended in Live Hot categories, Ashley Irvine being awarded a Gold for his lamb main course dish, while there were two further awards in Display categories, Robert Blackwell winning gold for his petit fours (pictured).

Live Hot

Pasta dish: Steve Borbas - Bronze

Fish dish: Matt Reinmann - Silver

Lamb main course: Ashley Irvine - Gold

Scallop dish: Jonny Bridgeman - Silver


Petit fours: Robert Blackwell - Gold

Cold chocolate desserts: Stephen Mather - Silver
