Archaeologist to present Sidney findings and give insight into the archaeological phases of development on an area from the medieval period.

The exciting and ambitious 'Kitchen Project' continues to progress well, but we will be taking a moment to pause the archaeological dig so that we can share the interesting findings of the excavations so far with the Sidney community.

John Duffy, the Director from L & P Archaeology, has kindly offered to share with us all the exciting finds that have been uncovered so far, and to provide an insight into the various phases of development of an area from the medieval period.

There will be a presentation in the William Mong Hall with an archaeologist on hand to answer questions on Thursday 25 January, Friday 26 January, and Saturday 27 January. You can choose to attend a morning session from 9.00am to 11.00am, or an afternoon session at 1.00-3.00pm.

In addition, John will be leading guided tours of the site on Thursday 25 January and Friday 26 January at 10.00am and 2.00pm.

Please come along to the William Mong Hall to join a tour, or to view the presentation.

All members of the Sidney community are welcome to attend!
