Crowds cheer cycling's celebrated race as it passes Sidney Sussex.

The third stage of the 101st edition of the Tour de France started in Cambridge on a warm and sunny afternoon.  Cheering crowds lined Sidney Street to welcome the peloton, headed by race leader and wearer of the coveted yellow jersey Vincenzo Nibali.

Members of the College used every available vantage point to take in the sights and sounds of the world famous race.

The riders made a ceremonial loop of the city before heading for London and a finish on The Mall.
