While we cannot yet meet together to celebrate properly, we would like to say well done to all our graduating students!

In any other year, last week would have been an occasion for celebration in Sidney. The night before graduation would have seen a service in the Chapel, and a dinner afterwards. The next morning we would have gathered with our graduands and their families, clapped them out of College as they processed to the Senate House, and then welcomed them back as graduates of Cambridge University for a garden party full of congratulations and farewells. This year, none of that could happen.

The College celebrations may not have occurred, but we are confident that the results achieved will have been recognised in a variety of ways and locations. This year’s leavers worked hard to complete their degrees under extraordinary circumstances, and we are immensely proud of them. We will have them back, when things are safer, for a proper celebration. But, in the meantime, we’ve prepared a little something — a virtual leaver’s service with words from the Chaplain and the Master, music from our Choir, all interspersed with photos the students have sent in from their last few years in Cambridge.

We hope you enjoy it. We’ve missed you, and we look forward to seeing you again.
