The College is pleased to announce the winners of the recent Photography Competition.

The competition had a broad remit within the themes of Work – Play and Nature – Bricks & Mortar, and around 60 entries were received. 15 entries were selected for the longlist and were on display in the Old Kitchen for College members to vote on.  The winning entries were announced at the end of last year.

The winner of the First Prize was ‘Sky above earth below, fire of the sun within’, submitted by Srinidhi Krishnan, a first year Medic. In joint second place was ‘Interwoven’ by Shona Lally and ‘London after storm’ by Matilda Butterworth, first and third year Modern and Medieval Languages undergraduates respectively. Cash prizes have been awarded to these winners and they will also see their work displayed in the Old Kitchen this year.

The People's Vote was for ‘Herne Lodge’ submitted by Chattanya Nullaparaju, a recently graduated MBA student. Chattanya has won a copy of the stunning photo book, ‘Amsterdam Urban Jungle – unseen nature’, which demonstrates the amount of wildlife found in the city of Amsterdam.
