Sidney Fellow in History and Vice-Master Professor Rosamond McKitterick has helped American model Cindy Crawford explore a family connection to the eighth-century King of the Franks Charlemagne. 

Their meeting was filmed on location in Aachen Cathedral for a new series of Who Do You Think You Are? USA.  You can see the programme until 4th March by following the link to the BBC iPlayer (the segment starts 33 minutes into the programme).
