Undergraduate Study

What is The Subject Matters?

The A Level (or equivalent) subjects you choose can often have an impact on what you’re able to study at university. Selective universities, such as Cambridge, often consider not only individual subjects, but also the combination of subjects you’re studying and whether they will effectively prepare you for your chosen course.

The Subject Matters webinar is for students and their parents and supporters. We offer key advice about making informed A Level (or equivalent) subject choices and provide an introduction to university life and study.

When is it?

The 2022 webinar took place on Thursday, 24 February 2022, 17:00 – 18:15 (UK time). It consisted of a 45-minute subject advice session by Cambridge Admissions staff, covering careers and super-curricular suggestions, alongside subject advice. There was an opportunity for questions at the end.

The event was recorded and if you wish to access the recording please fill out the below short form and it will be emailed to you.
