Fellow in History Professor Tim Blanning has been awarded the prestigious British Academy Medal for his compelling recent account Frederick the Great: King of Prussia

The book garnered widespread critical praise.  This award from the national organisation for the promotion of the humanities and social sciences confirms Professor Blanning's publication as a "landmark academic achievement".
