Professor Kenneth Armstrong in The Guardian

Sidney Fellow on Scotland, England and the EU.

A letter from Kenneth Amstrong, Professor of European Law and Sidney Fellow, was published this week in The Guardian, on the subject of the future of Scotland, England and the European Union after the next general election.

The letter follows Professor Armstrong's recent address to the Thornely Society, and asks whether the UK's membership of the EU will survive the general election, exploring what this could mean for the union between Scotland and England. Speaking at the offfices of Reed Smith LLP in London earlier this week, Professor Armstrong delivered the eleventh Annual Thornely Society Lecture, entitled: 'The Fragile Union: What Price for Britain's EU Membership?'
