The Spy's Choirbook: new CD from Cambridge Fellow

BBC News profiles Dr David Skinner's new CD.

Working with his professional choir Alamire, Osborn Director of Music Dr David Skinner has recently released a CD called The Spy's Choirbook.  The recording is based on music from a sixteenth-century illuminated manuscript given to King Henry VIII.  Now kept in the British Library, the manuscript was presented to the monarch by the agent and musician Petrus Alamire, from whom the choir takes its name.

The disc, which has been riding high in the classical music charts, has been the subject of a feature, which you can read by following the link to the BBC News website.
