Wisteria Watch

Sidney's famous wisteria is now in bloom.

The wisteria in Chapel Court is now in full bloom and looking magnificent.  This year's display has been somewhat reduced in size as essential maintenance to the railings in Hall Court meant that the wisteria on that side of the Porters' Lodge was given a hard prune earlier in the year.  But the stunning sweep of purple flowers in Chapel Court more than makes up for it, as can be seen in these photographs.
