Sidney's work on display in the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences

A new display in the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences, Cambridge, features the work of palaeobiology Research Fellow Tom Harvey.

The display, which is entitled “From Mountains to Microscope”, describes pioneering research into carbonaceous microfossils from the Cambrian period, encompassing fieldwork in the Canadian Rockies, laboratory work here in Cambridge, and the implications of the new finds for charting early animal evolution.

The display is located at the intersection of the two wings of the Museum, and will run for six months. For more visitor information, see the Sedgwick Museum website.

Dr Tom Harvey is Reserch Fellow in Natural Sciences at Sidney Sussex College.
