Distinguished award for Professor Michael Lamb

Sidney Sussex Fellow Professor Michael Lamb is to receive the Award for Distinguished Contribution to Psychology and Law from the American Psychology-Law Society.

As the Department of Psychology reports on its website, the award is reserved for individuals who have made exceptional theoretical, empirical or applied contributions in the field of psychology and law.  To give some measure of its significance, the award has only been granted 12 times since it was first presented over 25 years ago.

Professor Lamb is the head of the Applied Developmental Psychology Research Group within the Department of Psychology.  He is also editor of the journal Psychology, Public Policy, and Law, which is published by the American Psychological Association.
