Sidney Sussex July Open Days

Sidney will be open between 9.00 - 4.30pm on Thursday 5 July and Friday 6 July for prospective undergraduates to explore our beautiful grounds, chat to current undergraduates and Directors of Studies, and listen to our Admission Director's insightful presentations; 'Applying to Cambridge' and 'Admissions Assessments and Interviews'.

These open days are a fantastic opportunity to visit as all of the Colleges will be open, as well as many department and faculty buildings. It's also a great opportunity to explore this beautiful city! You can find out more about the University programme of events by visiting the University website.

Please view our full programme to see what's going on in Sidney (programme available to view as a PDF in the 'Downloads' bar), and to find out which of our Directors of Studies will be around on the day to chat to.

We're open! Current undergraduates will be on hand all day giving tours of College, and the Admissions team will be around to help answer any queries you have.

And yes - the rumours are true - we will be handing out free ice creams!

Our Admissions Director, Dr Catherine Sumnall, will deliver an 'Applying to Cambridge' presentation in the Mong Hall. This is a drop-in event so we recommend arriving in good time, although there will be space to stand at the back of the room as well.

The majority of our Directors of Studies (DoSes) will be on hand in the beautiful Sidney gardens to chat with prospective applicants. Please see our full programme to check whether a DoS will be around for the course you are interested in (nb please pay particular attention to the location of where the DoS will be for the course you are interested in, as a few will be located in their offices at different times). We will of course have memers of the Admissions Team and current undergraduate students on hand to answer your queries too.

Dr Catherine Sumnall will deliver an 'Admissions Assessments and Interviews' presentation in the Mong Hall.

NB Parents and guardians may attend the talks.
