Sidney Sussex IT Support

IT Office Location: Q11, first floor of Garden Court

General office open hours: 9.00am and 5.00pm (may not always be manned):

Student help hours: 10:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

The IT Team at Sidney are available to help with your IT queries. They are happy to answer any questions and are prepared to welcome new users to the College computing facilities.

There are five members of IT staff. The IT Manager is in charge of the general computing facilities within the College:

  • IT Manager
  • Network and Communications Manager
  • Technical Web Officer
  • Computer Officer
  • IT Support Officer
     

Note: If you are bringing in your device for repair, please ensure you have taken a full backup of any important data beforehand. Whilst we take every reasonable effort to ensure data is retained, we cannot be held responsible for damage/loss of data or functionality of the equipment.

 


University Information Services (UIS) Service Desk

In the first instance, contact the Sidney IT team and we can advise you on the best course of action to get the support you need. UIS host a variety of services frequently used by members of the University so you may need to contact them directly to report issues or request assistance.
