Sidney has a dedicated Teaching Associate in Learning and Writing who is on hand to assist our students with developing their academic skills.
Our Teaching Associate in Learning and Writing works collaboratively with every student (after all you're the expert on you!) and will help you make sense of how you can learn.
They are here to work with:
- first-year undergraduates finding time management, exam revision or referencing a bit of a mine field
- second-year undergraduates thinking about independent study skills you might want to improve now you've received first-year feedback
- students of any cohort wishing to chat about study skills and dissertations (from line-spacing rules, to rules of citation, plagiarism, structuring of the argument) to exam technique
- International Master’s students creating your first dissertation within the English academic system and wanting to talk through appropriate forms of English expression.
