The SSMVS is a small, supportive group that thrives on its strong sense of community.

The SSMVS hosts a range of events to get everyone together and educate members on the possibilities that come with a career in medicine.

In the past, this has included talks about working in healthcare abroad, and innovative research, such as new brain imaging techniques for surgeons under development by a Sidney Fellow.

There are also numerous social events to give us time to relax and enjoy the university experience, including swaps, end of term parties, and meals out together.

SSMVS support our medic & vet family through welfare events and advice workshops throughout the year.

Please take a look at some of our latest news on the SSMVS website and please feel free to contact any member of the committee if you have any questions about medicine, Sidney, or life at the University of Cambridge in general.
