The Chorley Society is an academic and social hub for the geography community of Sidney Sussex.
We organise several talks and socials throughout the year which let us further engage with the subject, meet academics personally, and help us to foster a friendly, supportive atmosphere for the geographers at Sidney.
The society is named after the late Professor Richard 'Dick' Chorley, a leading figure in geography in the late twentieth century who taught at Sidney for many years.
