International Alumni Groups


There are many alumni groups to become involved in around the globe, which host events bringing Sidney alumni together.
Principle alumni groups are located in Germany and Switerzland. Details for these groups can be found below. Events are, however, hosted all over the world so do look out for these. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the Development and Membership office.  


Activities in Germany are hosted by the German Cambridge Society, in which Sidney alumni play a prominent role (among them the current Vice-Chair and the Secretary). Members of the Society would also be willing to help Sidney students or young professionals coming to Germany for their studies or career. Please get in touch with Dr Heinz Fuchs at


The Sidney Club of Geneva consists of 26 former and current Fellows/students with representatives in France, Germany and the UK. It prides itself in offering a well-balanced range of social and educational/intellectual activities. The Club collaborates with the Oxford and Cambridge Dining Club of Geneva and with a similar Club in Zurich.

The Sidney Club of Geneva have four upcoming events:
August 2018 -  Boat trip Nyon-Yvoire-Nyon in August 2018 and dinner in Yvoire, a medieval French village on the Geneva Lake shore.
13 - 15 September - Trip to Venice
January 2019 - New Year Dinner.
26 May 2019 - Annual Dinner & Talk; Speaker: Professor Gary Gerstle.
