Dr Fernando Lusa Bordin is one of the College's Fellows and Lecturers in Law, and his Fellowship is generously funded in memory of John Thornely, Sidney Sussex's first Law Fellow. He is also an Affiliated Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, and a Fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law. His research focuses on topics of public international law, including law-making, the law of treaties, the law of international responsibility, international organizations and the intersection between international law and legal theory.
