We will be running a series of subject taster days in March and April 2018 targetted at Year 12 students who are interested in gaining an insight into what it might be like to study certain subjects at the University of Cambridge.
We will be running the following subject taster days:
- Languages and Literature Taster Day (Saturday 10 March 2018)
- History and Law Taster Day (Saturday 17 March 2018)
- Economics Taster Day (Saturday 24 March 2018)
- Biological Sciences Taster Day (Thursday 12 April 2018)
A typical programme will run from 10.00am-4.00pm and will include subject taster lectures delivered by Sidney Sussex academics and graduate students, a tour of Sidney Sussex, a chance to chat with current undergraduate students, and an opportunity to visit the departments. The Admissions Director will also be available to deliver advice about making a competitive application. This is a fantastic opportunity for Year 12 students to develop a better understanding of what it might be like to study a particular subject at the University of Cambridge.
