For the first time this summer, the University of Cambridge participated in UCAS Adjustment. 67 students, all with fantastic A-level results, have taken up the opportunity to come and study at Cambridge. Sidney is delighted to welcome six students through Adjustment this year.

UCAS Adjustment allows students who have met all the conditions of their conditional-firm offer, and exceeded at least one, the opportunity to be considered by other universities without jeopardising their place. The University's eligibility criteria for Adjustment is outlined on the University website.

All of the students who were offered a place through Adjustment were in the process of making their applications to Cambridge this time last year. Although they narrowly missed out on being offered a place following their original application and interview, they were all given the opportunity to reconsider Cambridge if they performed beyond expectations in their A-level exams.

Sidney will welcome 108 first-year undergraduates this year, including six new students who will be joining us after taking up a place through Adjustment.

You can discover more about some of the students who have been offered a place through Adjustment on the University website.

Congratulations to all those who will be joining the University and Sidney in October!
