Ambitious refurbishment work underway

An ambitious project to refurbish student accommodation in Sussex House is well underway. When complete, the work will provide some thirty student rooms and three large kitchens, as well as refurbished bathroom and gyp facilities. It continues the College’s investment in on-site student accommodation, following the refurbishment of Garden Court and Sidney House.

A new laundry will also be installed on the ground floor of Blundell Court, replacing an older facility in the building that will also be converted into an en-suite student room.

It is a busy summer for projects, with work to repair the stone balustrade and redecorate the windows on the Sussex Street face of South Court also taking place.
