Recently graduated student Jen Durrant awarded prestigious Royal Geographical Society research group prize.

Geography undergraduate students at Cambridge are required to submit a 10,000 word dissertation as part of their final (third) year of study.  Jen Durrant, who graduated from Sidney Sussex in 2014, conducted original research into homelessness.  The quality of Jen's dissertation, titled 'Fallen on hard times: Re-examining the homeless hostel', was recently recognised by the Social and Cultural Geography Research Group of the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), which awarded her its annual dissertation prize.
