Professor Kenneth Armstrong's thought-provoking blog entry explores why he thinks talk of a 'no deal' Brexit makes a deal more likely

Professor Armstrong (Professor of European Law at the University of Cambridge and Sidney Fellow) has already penned the book Brexit Time: Leaving the EU - Why, How and When?, which was published in 2017. He also writes a blog at brexittime.com.

In his latest blog entry, published by HuffPost, Professor Armstrong explores why it may be preferable for politicians in Westminster to talk up the risk of a 'No Deal Brexit', and how this appears to be aimed at a range of audiences. You can read the full article at HuffPost.

Towards the end of 2017, Professor Armstrong was awarded a Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship to analyse the dynamics of regulatory alignment and divergence after Brexit. The project runs from 2018-21.
