Sidney catering team awarded Steward's Cup three years running

The Sidney Sussex catering team have been awarded the Steward's Cup for the best team performance in this year's Cambridge Colleges Culinary Competition. The individual performances that contributed to this success included the following:

Nigel Tumber (Afternoon Teacakes) - Gold Medal / Best in Class / Best in Show

Derek Pledger (Main Course) - Gold Medal

Ashley Irvine (Under 21s) - Gold / Best in Class

Brian Girdlestone (Petit Fours) - Silver Medal / Best in Class

Norbert Raffai (Front of House) Silver Medal

Amie Wilding (Front of House) Silver Medal

Ritesh Rebello (Front of House) Silver Medal

Steve Borbas (Canapés) Bronze Medal

This is the 3rd year in succession that the Sidney Sussex team have won the competition.
