Sidney alumna Sakthy Selvakumaran recognised by New Civil Engineer magazine.

Sakthy Selvakumaran, who now works for Gifford, has been Highly Commended in New Civil Engineer magazine's list of graduate students of the year.

Whilst at Sidney Sakthy joined the charity Engineers Without Borders, rising to become its senior fundraising coordinator, overseeing 34 university branches and some 4,500 volunteers. In her final year Sakthy took part in a project designing micro-hydro-electric power schemes for Peruvian villages.
