Poetry Book Society Competition

Sidney welcomes National Student Poetry Competition winners.

The Poetry Book Society is delighted to present the winners of the 2014 National Student Poetry Competition at a free event hosted by Sidney Sussex College.  

Performing on the night and receiving their prizes will be the overall winner of the competition, Talin Tahajian, a first-year student at Sidney Sussex; Jamie Osborn, a second-year student at Clare College, Cambridge; and James Giddings, an MA student at Sheffield Hallam University.

We are thrilled that the Competition judge, Jane Yeh - a Next Generation Poet 2014 - will be in attendance to read from her work and present the prizes to the winners.

The event will be held in the Knox-Shaw Room at Sidney Sussex College, at 6pm on Tuesday 10 March.
