Letter from Liguria: choir tour to Italy

News from the Chapel Choir's tour to Italy.

Sidney Sussex Chapel Choir is currently on tour in Liguria, Italy. Choir member Laura Harrison writes:

'The chapel choir is currently enjoying the delights of the Ligurian coast, having performed the first three concerts of our tri-annual tour of Italy, in Savignone, Pontremoli and Levanto.

The sea, sun and spaghetti have made for some wonderful singing experiences and we have enjoyed standing ovations at all of our performances so far. Tomorrow's destination is Florence, where we shall be performing outside the Uffizi gallery.

Highlights still to come include singing Mass at the Vatican and taking in the beautiful vistas of Farfa Abbey, a remote monastery outside the capital.'
