Clive Wilmer to give keynote at Berkeley meeting on John Ruskin and William Morris.

Fellow in English Clive Wilmer will be addressing a conference meeting in Berkeley, California, on Saturday 31st May.  Themed as 'Helping in the Work of Creation: John Ruskin and William Morris Today', the conference will explore how Ruskin and Morris framed nature, work and architecture.

Clive Wilmer, who is also Master of the Guild of St George, which was founded by Ruskin in 1871 with the intention to support 'art education, craft work and rural economy', will address the conference with a paper entitled ‘"A new road on which the world should travel": John Ruskin, "The Nature of Gothic" and William Morris'.
