Dr Colin Roberts has been appointed to head the equine drug testing unit at the London Olympics in 2012.
The equestrian events - dressage, eventing and jumping - will take place at Greenwich Park and will involve over 200 competitors and their horses from around the world competing for a total of six gold medals.
Dr Roberts is an expert in equine internal medicine and is Director of Studies in Veterinary Medicine.
