We would like to invite you to the Sidney Sussex Medical and Veterinary Society Triennial Dinner, taking place in College on Saturday 3 February 2024.
For many years, the Triennial Dinner has provided an opportunity to reunite with friends and network with fellow clinicians, scientists, and students. This year, the first Triennial Dinner since the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic, we hope to revive this tradition. All guests are invited to enjoy a set of talks, before pre-dinner drinks in the Mong Hall. This will then be followed by a customary three-course meal in the Main Hall, and post-dinner drinks.
We are delighted to announce that our Keynote Speaker for the evening will be the new Master of Sidney Sussex, Professor Martin Burton. An active NHS clinician for over 30 years, Professor Burton held the chair of Otolaryngology in the Nuffield Department of Surgical Science of University of Oxford and was simultaneously the Director of Cochrane UK. We also look forward to hearing three brief presentations from our current clinical students about their recent electives, which we hope will bring back many a fond memory.
