The third Economics, Business and Finance Dinner, will take place in College on Thursday 17 November 2022 and welook forward to bringing together all current students and alumni who have either just matriculated or, in the past, graduated in management, finance or economics from either the faculty of economics or the Cambridge Judge Business School.
We are delighted that former Master, Professor Dame Sandra Dawson, will give the pre-dinner talk entitled 'What has Equality, Diversity and Inclusion got to do with Economics and Leadership?' Sandra is KPMG Professor Emerita of Management Studies at the Judge Business School, having been Director of the School from 1995 to 2006. Alongside her roles chairing numerous board and non-executive directorships, she writes and teaches on leadership, governance, and the management of change. In her talk she will address several questions: Why is EDI becoming a topic on FTSE Board agendas? Why is EDI becoming a concern to Leaders across the commercial, public and charitable sectors? What changes have and may result? And what is the response and responsibility of the many stakeholders touched by this topic?
6pm - Talk by Professor Dame Sandra Dawson, William Mong Hall
7pm - Pre-dinner drinks, William Mong Hall
7.30pm - Dinner, the Old Kitchen
Tickets are £50 and the dress code is black tie (no gowns).
