Choir preparing for US tour
Details of the Choir's forthcoming tour to the United States.
Sidney Sussex Chapel Choir will soon be heading across the Atlantic for a tour of California and Las Vegas. The Choir will be singing at a range of services and concerts, conducted by Osborn Director of Music, Dr David Skinner. Repertoire will include Renaissance music by Taverner, Lassus, Byrd, and Victoria, and twentieth-century English music by Parry, Howells, and Vaughan Williams. Encores will include compositions by Grammy-award winning composer Eric Whitacre, who is Composer in Residence at Sidney Sussex.
Members of the Choir are looking forward to meeting American-based members of the College and to forging new friendships.
