Honorary Degree for Dame Sandra Dawson

Distinction for former Master from Royal Holloway, University of London

During the long vacation former Master of Sidney Sussex, Professor Dame Sandra Dawson, was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Science (Social Sciences) Degree by Royal Holloway, University of London.  Professor Dawson was also recently invited to deliver the distinguished Alec Rodger Memorial Lecture for 2016 by Birkbeck, also of the University of London.  She took as her theme, "Bridging the Gap - from Weber to where?"  You can watch Professor Dawson's lecture online by following the link to the Birkbeck website.

Professor Dawson is KPMG Professor Emeritus of Management Studies and former Director of the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.  She was Master of Sidney Sussex between 1999 and 2009.
