Vocal and Choral Recording of the Year

Australian magazine award for Dr David Skinner and Alamire

Australian music magazine Limelight has named Anne Boleyn's Songbook, by Osborn Director of Music Dr David Skinner and his professional choir Alamire, as its Vocal and Choral Recording of the Year.

The magazine's praise is the latest distinction for Dr Skinner's ambitious survey project of early English music. The disc features music by Brumel, Compere, Josquin and Mouton, and includes a recording of text purported to have been composed by Anne Boleyn as she waited to be executed.

Alamire will perform from the recording at Cadogan Hall on 17th March 2016. For more information please visit the Alamire website.
