Cambridge Admissions Seminars in the North-West of England

We will soon be running two half-day seminars for teachers and lecturers who wish to find out more about the Cambridge admissions process.

The seminars will take place at the following venues:
Wednesday 30th September – Cardinal Newman College, Preston
Tuesday 6th October – City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College

Each seminar will run from 1.00 to 4.45pm. The afternoon will start with lunch, followed by a brief introduction to teaching and learning at Cambridge. The main focus of the afternoon will be a detailed introduction to Cambridge admissions, with a focus on identifying potential candidates and supporting them through the application process.

We hope that the seminars will be of interest to teachers with little experience of supporting Cambridge applicants, and particularly beneficial for those with students considering an application in this admissions round. In the final session of the afternoon, we will consider how to support the most able students from an early stage in their school careers, including resources and advice available from the university.
