We realise that your Wedding Day is one of the most important days of your life and our dedicated Conference Team will be happy to assist you in tailoring your reception to your individual requirements, ensuring that you have a wonderful day which you will remember for years to come.

Ceremonies

Only couples with a close connection to the College (Fellows, current or ex-students and staff members) can hold their wedding ceremony in the Chapel. Members of College wanting to be married in the Chapel should contact the Pastoral Dean. There is also more information available on the Chapel's wedding information page.

Receptions

The College is always delighted to host wedding receptions, even if you have chosen to have the ceremony elsewhere.

Catering information

The College Kitchens, with an award-winning team of expert chefs and front-of-house staff, are widely regarded as among the best in Cambridge. Our Head Chef and Hall Manager can offer expert advice on menus, wines and the finer details needed to ensure your reception passes without a hitch.

Every wedding is different, but many receptions is made up of the same three elements:

  1. Wedding receptions at Sidney Sussex typically begin with a Drinks Reception.
  2. Guests then enjoy dishes from our latest fine dining menus at the Wedding Breakfast.
  3. Dancing, music and entertainment can follow as part of an Evening Reception.
