3-year course: we require A-level (or equivalent) Latin and/or Greek. 4-year course: no specific A-levels preferred.
Admissions Process
Written work
Two essays (on a Classical or related subject, where possible).
Admissions tests
None for 3-year course. Short language aptitude test for 4-year course.
Inteviews
Three interviews. The first will be a more general interview; the second will be subject-related, involving a discussion of a short piece of unseen Latin (with vocabulary) for those taking the 3-year course. A third subject-related interview will take place in another College and is part of the Faculty of Classics' interview structure, in which applicants are seen by more than one College.
