Data Protection Policy

The Data Protection Act 1998 ("DPA98") came into force on 1 March 1998. Its purpose is to limit and safeguard the storage and use of personal data (i.e., information about living, identifiable persons). To comply with DPA98, information must be collected and used fairly, stored safely and not disclosed to any unauthorised person.

The above data protection policies are being reviewed by the College, in readiness for the coming into force of the General Data Protection Regulation 2018. As this work is completed, new documents are made available on-line and replace the relevant provisions in the existing policies. These include:
